The pen’s dark intensity echoes the black volcanic earth of Mount Etna while the bronze fittings bring an undeniable touch of elegance and style to this original writing instrument.
The clip and other metal fittings are made following traditional methods that don’t require plating or protective treatments. Over time, the natural bronze tones will slightly veer towards pink. Lava is an extremely abrasive material which requires special techniques and custom-made tools. Before assembly, each piece of the pen must be carefully polished until it reaches its soft, leathery final texture.
